Because I believe in walking my talk, I typically take a break from writing my blog update this time of year in addition to enjoying some time on vacation.  Research has shown that the benefits of this are enormous –  downtime can enhance productivity, inspiration, performance, creativity, attention, judgment and clear thinking.

I hope you take some time to do the same for yourself this summer.  Self-care has become somewhat of a buzzword these days, but it’s an important concept and taking some time off really does make us better – physically, mentally, spiritually.
