Of all the topics I work with clients on, burnout seems to be right up there. The pace of life seems to pick up more as the years go by and some of us can get so caught up in it, we don’t realize it until we are teetering on the edges of burnout. Or maybe we’re already there. I can get as caught up as anyone which is why I try to take as much of August off as I can. Most of my more intensive work is over for the summer, with the exception of meeting with clients, and I take a break from writing these posts, too. It’s a good way for me to slow down and spend time appreciating the summer before it’s gone.
