Spring has arrived here in Colorado, although the weather has been quite unpredictable this winter. We had a lovely dinner the other night at an outdoor restaurant right as dusk was settling in and it made me think of what the warmer weather will bring.

The change of seasons can be a good time to consider changing things up. Spring, after all, is about renewal and rebirth. In keeping with that, I offer a simple seven-day Spring Reset Challenge to ease you into this time.

The 7-Day Spring Reset – Refine your energy. Reset your habits.
Reconnect to what matters. Each day has one simple focus across food, movement, and wellbeing —designed to feel doable, not overwhelming.

Day 1: Clear the Space – Outer order → inner clarity

Food: Clean out fridge/pantry; toss or donate what no longer serves you.
Movement: 20-minute walk (think: “clearing mental clutter”)
Wellbeing: Declutter one small area (desk, bag, nightstand)
Reflection: What am I ready to release this season?

Day 2: Nourish Simply – Back to basics

Food: Build a “spring reset plate” (veggies, protein, whole grains)
Movement: Gentle stretching or yoga (10–15 min)
Wellbeing: Eat one meal slowly, without distractions

Reflection: How does simplicity feel in my body?

Day 3: Light + Energy – Reconnect to natural rhythms

Food: Hydration focus (add lemon, cucumber, or berries to water)
Movement: Get 15–20 minutes of sunlight + movement early in the day
Wellbeing: Step outside for 3 mindful pauses

Reflection: What energizes me naturally?

Day 4: Fresh Inputs – What you consume shapes how you feel

Food: Add 2 seasonal foods (greens, berries, herbs)
Movement: Try a new activity or change your routine
Wellbeing: Reduce digital input (limit scrolling/news)

Reflection: What am I allowing into my mind and body?

Day 5: Connection – Support and belonging

Food: Share a meal or coffee with someone
Movement: Walk or move with a friend
Wellbeing: Reach out to someone you’ve been thinking about

Reflection: Where do I feel most connected?

Day 6: Restore – Rest is productive

Food: Eat lighter, more intuitive meals
Movement: Gentle movement only (walk, stretch)
Wellbeing: Create a calming evening routine (no screens 1 hour before bed)

Reflection: What does true rest feel like for me?

Day 7: Refine + Reset – Integration and intention

Food: Plan 2–3 simple meals for the week ahead
Movement: Choose your “anchor movement” habit
Wellbeing: Journal + set 1–3 intentions for the next month

Reflection: What do I want more of moving forward?

Things to remember –
~ This week isn’t about perfection—it’s about refinement.
~ Think small, intentional shifts that bring you back to yourself.
~ If you’re ready to deepen this work, I invite you to continue in a more personalized way. I am available for a complimentary coaching consultation by appointment, and welcome the opportunity to talk to you about your goals, and any problems or concerns you may have. Please feel free to contact me by email or telephone for an appointment.

What’s energizing about spring is its newness – new growth, new life, the anticipation of warmer days ahead. By capitalizing on that energy you bring it into your own life and the lives of those around you. Happy spring!
